The Lab Nevada specializes in light hydrocarbon extraction producing cannabis concentrates and oils including live resin sap, shatter, batter, budder and crumble. Terpene retention is of utmost importance during the process in order to retain the plant’s original flavor profile.
Concentrate Types Available:
Crumble/ Our least moist, least sticky product. Holds up well to heat. Easily handled with bare hands. Perfect for pens, nails, or breaking apart and adding to flower. This product is homogenized, and then processed in a vacuum oven for purging. Packaged in our clam shells.
Budder/ Our Core product. A clay like consistency great for dab rigs or pens. A tool is typically used for handling the product, it can be sticky depending on the strain. Budder will tolerate heat but can get greasy if stored in a warm climate. The product is homogenized and purged by hand whipping over low heat. Packaged in clam shells.
Batter/ Similar to budder, but wetter in consistency due to the fresh frozen plant material used during extraction. Hand whipped over low heat. Packaged in clam shells. This product is typically our highest terpene value product.
Shatter/ A brittle consistency. These products are both temperature and humidity sensitive and will revert back to their more stable budder or sugar like consistency if not stored properly. We recommend keeping these products refrigerated. A nail typically the preferred method of consumption. A vacuum oven is used for purging and to harden the product. Packaged in parchment paper.
Sap/ A shatter like product that never truly hardens, it retains more of a “pull and snap”, taffy or honey like consistency. Too required for handling and a nail is typically preferred due to the potential mess factor of trying to load a pen. Many CBD strains tend towards sap when processed like shatter. Purging is done by vacuum oven. Packaged in silicone containers.
