The High Times Cannabis Cup will converge on to the Las Vegas desert on March 4th and 5th for the first major event since the legalization of marijuana in the state of Nevada. This two day event will be held at the Moapa Events Grounds located 35 minutes from the Las Vegas strip. The Travel Joint will have free shuttle buses running to and from the strip all day long both days of the event for your convenience and will be picking up and dropping off at four dispensary locations. We have also begun to launch exclusive deals on hotel rooms that can be reserved here, so make sure to book soon as the deals won’t last.
The US Cannabis Cup will feature a one-of-a-kind, onsite HIGH TIMES living grow room! Stop to smell the flowers—live and real—and see what most have only seen in the pages of HIGH TIMES. Like stepping into a HT photo shoot, experience the set-up, lights and plants, as HIGH TIMES’ favorite grow experts Danny Danko and Nico Escondido lead you on a tour of the garden, including time for discussions, questions and answers. Top growers will give demonstrations on nutrients, lighting, room conditions, harvesting and more!
The Las Vegas Cannabis Cup will highlight the versatility of marijuana. Even if you choose not to smoke or vape, you can still benefit from our favorite herb’s healing properties. Get relaxed at our topical massage spa and chow down with curated edible cuisine pairings in our Edibles Village. Looking to learn? Attend kitchen demos with HIGH TIMES’ edibles editor Elise McDonough and see the pros in action during our “Taste of Cannabis” Chef Competition, in which we challenge top cannabis chefs to create their best dishes in a fast-paced, head-to-head battle to determine whose flavors are the freshest and whose techniques are the most refined and innovative.
With huge wins across the country for marijuana during the 2016 election, the 2017 US Cannabis Cup Las Vegas will host the HIGH TIMES Legalization Celebration Pavilion. Here, you’ll find a rally stage for activists (there’s still much more work to be done!), panels on legal and veterans issues, non-profit exhibitors and the opportunity to hear from government representatives. Learn everything you need to know about the new marijuana markets popping up around the country, and find out how to take action to help out in other states.
This event is for all adults ages 21+. You must bring a valid photo ID.
We will be updating this page with much more information as the event dates near. Stay tuned.
